MARGARET E. YOUNG

      Mrs. Margaret E. Young age 85 of La Farge passed away Friday, May 30, 1986 in the Vernon Memorial Hospital, Viroqua.
      Margaret was born on September 14, 1900 at Bear Creek, in the town of Stark, Vernon County, to LeRoy and Rachel (Wilson) Gray.
      Margaret lived in La Farge until her marriage to Howard T. Young on June 6, 1919. The couple lived in Minneapolis for 40 years and then in February 1963 they moved to La Farge. Margaret has made her home in La Farge for the past 23 years.
      Her husband preceded her in death on May 26, 1973.
      Margaret was a member of the La Farge United Methodist Church and of the United Methodist Women. She was also a member of the Womens Relief Corps Allen McVey Corps No. 148 of La Farge, and a member of the Jones-Lawrence Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary 9075.
      She is survived by many nieces and nephews, and many great nieces and great nephews, many friends and special friends Ben and Becky Rastall.
      In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by a number of brothers and sisters.
      Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 3, 1986 at 2 P.M. in the La Farge United Methodist Church. Rev. Lesly Watkins officiated. The organist Jean Steinmetz and soloist, Gervas McHenry. Burial was in the Bear Creek Cemetery. Pallbearers, Ben Rastall, Jack Hill, Steve Lisney, Kent Steinmetz, Homer Gray and Tim Campbell. Friends called at the Seland Funeral Home in La Farge on Monday from 7 until 9 P.M. where a service was conducted by the Womens Relief Corps at 8 P.M.

He married OLIVE WIDNER October 27, 1900 in Clinton, Vernon County, Wisconsin, daughter of JAMES WIDNER and EMILIE RECOB. She was born January 14, 1884 in Eagle Township, Richland County, Wisconsin, and died February 13, 1960 in Minneapolis.

OBERT MC KEE:
      Robert "Rob" Mc Kee was born December 20, 1877 in Stark, Vernon County, Wisconsin, the son of William A. Mc Kee and Alice Clark, natives of Ohio. He married Olive "Ollie" Widner October 27, 1900 in Clinton Township, Vernon County. Ollie, born January 14, 1884, Eagle Township, Richland County, Wisconsin was the daughter of James Madison Widner and Emily Louise Recob who came to Wisconsin from Indiana.
      Rob and Ollie moved to Minnesota by 1913, settling in Robbinsdale. Their first son was Laird Curtis, born January 24, 1905 in Avalanche, Wisconsin, married Lilliam Elmanda Brown, and was the father of Bette June (Richard Dygert), Janet Louise (Roger Vick),, and Susan Lorraine (Duane Arle Klatke). Laird died August 10, 1969, and Lillian passed away July 11, 1987.
      The second child, Harley LeRoy Mc Kee, was born in Avalance, September 20, 1907 and passed away in 1993. He married Gwendolyn Jensen and raised Robert (Wanda Hosie), and Thomas Eugene Mc Kee (Rose Marie Schade).
      Elva Louise Mc Kee was born April 12, 1908 in Vernon County. She married Harlan T. Aafedt, Earl Wiganoske, and Arthur H. Miller. Elva had one son from each marriage, manely Fred Curtis Aafedt (changed his name to Mc Kee, and was raised by Rob and Ollie), born May 10, 1926, Minneapolis, married Ruth V. harper; William Edward Wiganoski (Diane Louise Neis) born November 24, 1938, Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, and Ronald Miller, born January 19, 1947, Robbinsdale. Elva died May 22, 1980, St. Paul, Minnesota.
      Ollie and Rob's third son, Donald Culp Mc Kee, was born September 6, 1913, Minneapolis, married Eleanore B. Bye. Eleanor and Don "Fibber" lived in Ferus Falls, Minnesota, in their later years. Don died April 17, 1989, and Eleanor passed away December 7, 1985. They are both buried in Bethlehem Lutheran Cemetery, Otter Trail County, Minnesota.
      Leonard Robert Mc Kee was born July 3, 1916, married Genevieve De Witt and fathered three children; Lawrence; Kathryn (Rober Teslow), and Milan. Leonard, Genevieve, and Milan were killed in an automobile accident in 1965 in New Hope, Minnesota. Kathryn made her home with Harley and Gwen Mc Kee after she recovered from injuries suffered the accident.
      The last child born of Ollie and Rob, Mc Kee was Garnet Pearl, born April 2, 1920 married Leonard J. Lozinski, and had two sons; Donald (Mary Jo Rand) and Daniel (Diane Agnes Bruggenthies). Garnet and Len lived many years in Roseville, Minnesota. Garnet died March 3, 1989. Len survived her exactly two months, dying May 3, 1989.
      Robert died September 29, 1955, Minneapolis. Ollie (Widner) Mc Kee succumbed after a short illness, February 13, 1960, Minneapolis. They are buried in Glen haven Gardens, Hennepin County, Minnesota.
