Dorothy Elaine Kinder, age 64, of LaFarge, died Sunday, March 14, 1993 at the Pine Valley Manor in Richland Center. She was born February 6, 1929, in Bloomingale, to Arnt and Marie (Paulson) Bjerkos. On July 3, 1965, Dorothy was united in marriage to Chester Kinder. She lived in Bloomingdale, Waerloo, Iowa, and Cashton, before moving to LaFarge.
      In addition to her husband, Chester, Dorothy is survived by her daughters, Jackei (John) Meier of Denver, Iowa, Sandra (John) Bird of LaFarge, and Cathy (Timothy) Lee of Madison; three grandchildren; Chad Klein, Heather Klein, and Kandice Bird; one sister, Arlene (William) Holte; and one brother Russell Bjerkos.
      She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Jack Fish; two sisters, Mildred and Beatrice; and four brothers, Hjalmer, Alton, Morris, and Glen.
      Funeral services were held on Tuesday, March 16, 1993 at 1:00 p.m. from Sugar Grove United Methodist Church. Pastor George Shick officiated with burial in the Bloomingdale Cemetery.
