Guy went from Brown to MIT, then became a 'renaissance man'. Lived on Commonwealth Ave, and knew all about art and architecture. Carried precious gems and jewellery with him at all times. (Cousin Leslie has some of his emeralds.)
He was a great friend of the Freddie Prince family, and later hired Joe Kennedy, who 'stole' RKO from him.

Notes for ORRIN MERTON ROBINSON:
      Orrin Robinson had been referred to as a 'well-known' stonecutter of Westerly--perhaps had worked on the granite monuments for which the town was noted. He followed his friend Walter LeGate to Providence and married the younger sister of Walter's wife Annie Medora Gammons. Orrin Robinson had to give up stonecutting around 1919 because of stonecutter's consumption. They went to New Bedford and lived with their daughter Mae Robinson Gray and her family. Orrin worked on a farm in Fairhaven while he was still able to do so, but his health soon failed completely and he died at his daughter's home. Mary Gammons returned to the family home in Westerly and lived there with her daughter Edith. Orrin Robinson's death record at the Fairhaven town hall shows that he was buried at Peckham West Cemetery but his family had him moved to River Bend Cemetery in Westerly so they could be buried together.

Notes for MARY POTTER GAMMONS:
      Mary P. Gammons place of birth was noted as Rochester on the birth record of her daughter and as New Bedford in her obituary. Mary met her husband while staying with her older sister Anna Medora Gammons in Providence, R.I. Anna's husband Walter LeGate and Orrin Robinson were friends from Stratham, New Hampshire, where both had been masons. Mary's Gammons marriage was in published marriages of R.I. Both the LeGates and the Robinsons moved to Westerly, R.I., and lived next to each other on Ledward Avenue, while Orrin and Walter were employed at the granite works. Mary Gammons made lace at home and sold it. Her obituary mentioned that she died at home after a brief illness; she had lived in Westerly for 47 years and was survived by two sisters, Ida J. Gammons and Mrs. Fred G. Bowman, and two brothers, Edwin and Walter W. Gammons, all of New Bedford. Mary Gammons, her husband Orrin and their daughter Edith are all buried together at River Bend Cemetery in Westerly, R.I.
