James Smith, age 77 years, died at his home one mile west of Elco November 10, following a lingering illness. Funeral services were held Saturday, November 11, in the Elco baptist Church, with the Rev. J. H. Albright officiating. Burial was made in Hazelwood cemetery, with J.M. Cauble directing the funeral.
