Mrs. Lucille McCrite, 62 of Olive Branch, die Thursday morning at 9:30 a.m. of an apparent heart attack. Mrs. McCrite was born in Elco to the late Elvis and Ellen Poole Smith. She is survived by her husband, Ferrell V. McCrite Sr. of Olive Branch, sons, Elvis of Cape Girardeau Mo., Ferrell V. McCrite Jr., James and Robert, all of Olive Branch, daughters, Mrs. Wanda Grace of Rt. 1. Cairo, Miss. Lois McCrite of Cairo and Mrs. Beverly Ellen Reid of Mexico Mo., brothers, Elvis Smith Jr. of Granite City, Billy Joe Smith of Sparta, sisters, Mrs. Jennie Collins of Wilmington Delaware, Mrs. Betty Stinson of Orange Texas and Mrs. Mary Pitts and Sue Arnold, both of Granite City, and 10 grandchildren. Friends may call this evening between 6 and 9 p.m. at the Farnsworth-Jones Funeral Home in Tamms. Funeral services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Funeral Home with the Rev. Eugene Williams officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Johns Cemetery near Dongola.
