    James Matthew Daugherty was born 12 Apr, 1855 in Union Hill, Kaufman County, TX. He was the second child of Baley and Nancy Jane (WIDEMAN)DAUGHERTY. Jim married Sarah Jane BOLES 27 JUL 1876 in Forney, Texas, where they had thirteen children.

    Sarah Jane BOLES was born 09 OCT 1856 to William BOLES and Nancy Jane POWELL. Sarah died 09 FEB 1930 in Dallas, TX. Burial is at Hillcrest Cemetery, Forney, Kaufman County, Texas. She married James Matthew DAUGHERTY in Forney, Kaufman County Texas.

    Nova James DAUGHERTY b. 07-11-1892 Forney, TX d. 12-31-1965 Dallas, TX. My grandfather, Nova worked as a steam pipe fitter about 1916-18 before WW I. He helped make the iron cages in the Dallas Zoo. Known as one of the last cowboys, Nova went on the last cattle round up from Kaufman County up to Denison, Grayson Co, Texas before WW I. He moved to Dallas and served in WW I
