On Sept 5, 1738 John and his wife Margaretha Immigrated to America. They arrived in Philadelphia Pa, on a galley called Winter( often called the Winter Galley ) John made his oath of allegiance on Sept 5th 1738 a requirement of all male Immigrants at that time.
