TEWART PRICE:
Stewart enlisted in Company C, 36th Va Inf April 12th 1862 at Camp Success. Transferred to Company I 36th Va. Inf Feb 1863. Listed as a deserter May 10 1864 ? captured at Blacksburg Va May 20th 1864, P.O.W. at Camp Chase Ohio, released Dec 10th 1864 by order of Mr. Lincoln. Said to have lived out his life in Montgomery and Lee Co. Va. with his wife and family. Stewart was my Great Great Grand Father. ( James A Price.

  Notes for FLOYD WILLIAM PRICE:
Floyd was in the 4th Virginia Inf Company L , along with eight other Prices from Prices Fork Va. They were in Stonewall Jacksons Corp. 1862 provost guard at Mount Jackson, promoted to Sgt Dec 3 1862 and to 1st Sgt Apr 10 1864. He was taken P.O.W. at Spotsylvania Va on May 12 1864 and was held at Elmira NY, until June 19 1865. He was 5ft 6in, dark eyes hair and complexion. This Information is from the history of the 4th Virginia Infantry by Dr James I Robertson Professer of History at Va Tech. Floyd was my 3rd cousin 3 times removed, James A Price.
