He married RACHEL KELLY 1820 in Harlan Co. Kentucky, daughter of JONATHAN KELLY and PATIENCE SPENCER. She was born 1807 in Harlan Co. Ky..

Notes for THOMAS BALL:
Thomas Ball, the 12th child of Moses II, Thomas was probably born in Va. and grew up around Van Hill in Hawkins County Tn. He later lived in Lee county, died there April 12, 1856 killed by a falling locust limb during a storm while hauling wood from a forest. He lived on Wallens Creek where he is buried.
