In 1990, my parents gave me and each of my four brothers, a beautiful Family Roots Book that they had compiled themselves. I was hooked! Shortly after that, I began the search to find out more information about these people, who were my ancestors. It has been a wondrous and fascinating journey. The Bruckner/Gibson line on my father's side of the family has particularly been of tremendous interest to me, since so little was known about them. I have been fortunate enough to inherit of late; diaries, family photos, and family correspondence dating back to the 1860's, which has helped shed more light on the Bruckner/Gibson family, and has given me an intimate look into their daily lives. I'd like to share some of this information with anyone who might be researching this family, or branches of this family. UPDATE: Oct 2007, I have recently been in contact with two relatives that are descendants of the Bruckners, due to my recent posting of genealogy information online! I have been able to gather from them, more information on the Bruckner family! It CAN pay off to post your genealogy on the internet, and actively seek out others that share the same family lines! I'd like to personally thank Mr. R. Slider, who put me in contact with Mrs H.R. Morton, who was kind enough to share her Bruckner family research information with me!
