I have been able to trace my mothers (PIERCE) side of the family back to 1812. Surnames on her side include PIERCE (Corry/Union City PA area), THOMPSON (Ashville and Delhi New York area), GLEASON (Ashville New York), KARASH (possibly from Germany), HAMILTON,COATS and TAYLOR.
On my fathers side (RICHARDSON), surnames include ALLEN, COOK, and HALL (probably from Union City/Spartansburg (Erie and Crawford Counties) PA). Also, my Great-Great Grandmother was Sarah (BOYD) COOK, who reportedly came from Ireland with her husband William COOK.
