11. George³ Ice (William Galloway "Indian Billy"², Frederick Iaac¹) was born Abt. 1767, and died Abt. 1828. He married (1) Mary Scott McNullen. She died Abt. 1802. He married (2) Catherine Paden Abt. 1804.

Notes for George Ice:
In Pennsylvania Archives, 6th series, Vol. 3, pg 24, George Ice is listed, subject to Pennsylvania Militia Laws in Bedford County in 1789.
Still another record in York County shows in 1784, a return of the 6th Company of Jacob Kaufelt, and listed is George Ice as being exercised in the Company.
In Pennsylvania Archives, 3rd series, Vol. 2, the names Eli, Thomas, John, William, Peter, Ralph, George, and Zachariah are shown with Warranties of 400 acres of land each in 1794. With the territory disputes, the land may well be within the boundaries of present day West Virginia.

Notes for Haden Bales Ice:
His mother died when he was an infant, and he was raised by Margaret and her husband. There is no recored of this family that I have found.

14. Eve³ Ice (William Galloway "Indian Billy"², Frederick Iaac¹) was born November 23, 1773 in Va, and died 1865 in W. V.. She married Benjamin Shrieves September 26, 1804 in Monongalia Co, VA. He was born November 05, 1773 in Ky, and died October 30, 1855 in Tyler Co, WV.

He was born Abt. 1777 in Caroline Co., MD, and died Abt. 1804 in Monongalia Co., West Virginia. She married (2) Abraham Shreve Abt. 1806 in VA. He was born Abt. 1787.

18. Abraham 'Lame Abe'³ Ice (William Galloway "Indian Billy"², Frederick Iaac¹) was born 1781 in Pennsylvania, and died May 06, 1856. He married Mary Polly Lewman 1807 in Monongalia Co, VA, daughter of Lewman and Nancy Lewman. She was born October 22, 1791 in Maryland, and died May 11, 1873.

Notes for Abraham 'Lame Abe' Ice:
Lame Abe got his name after a tree fell on his leg while he was cutting wood. Not being able to get out from under the massive timber, it was necessary to cut the leg off. This was done traditional to the time, with no anesthesia and using a crude timber saw. He wore a wooden peg leg until his death.

Abraham is shown as being born in Pennsylvania in the Marion County, West Virginia 1850 census.

Children listed are from his will, which resides in the Marion County, W. Va will book. Also taken from his bible, and expanded by family records, are the descendents of each child. The lineage shown is most certainly accurate.
