Eddie taught me this when I was a little girl, riding in the back of his parent's station wagon, driving in Denver one time on a visit. I must have been in about 3rd grade.

One bright morning in the middle of the night
Two dead boys got up to fight
back to back they faced each other
drew their swords and shot each other
a deaf policeman heard the noise
and came to kill those two dead boys
if you don't believe this story is true,
ask the blind man - he saw it,too!

He also fooled me once at his parent's house off 1st Ave and near grandma's house on Ellsworth. They had just bought a new TV - a real modern thing - real fancy - COLOR! We were watching it, and a commercial came on about fruit. He told me with the new TVs you can smell scents. I said "No way, you're lying to me!" He said, "No, really, through the speakers, you can smell it if you get close enough...." Needless to say I was a guppie. I thank God no one got a picture of me sniffing this TV.......Connie Roberts.

This marriage took place in Garden of the Gods, in Colorado Springs. I was there. As we were waiting for the marriage procession - there were 23 bridesmaids and best men - some noticed 2 climbers up on the rocks above the clearing. Later on we discovered it was none other than my brother - Larry Sallee, Ed's cousin, and his companion! I was sure surprised when I found that out! I guess Larry at the time was looking down on the wedding thinking 'Who's crazy enough to have that many attendants......'.
