My parents were:
William Herbert Robinson of Laconia, N.H. and Florence Zemir LeTourneau of Haverhill, Mass.
Aurelie Ann Higgins, husband Neil, children Kathy*, Jeff and Kim;
*Kathy: four children, Lydia, Annamarie, Adam and Christian
Pamela S. Robinson, daughter, Anna
Valerie Jean Stammitti, husband, Richard, children Emily and Bobby
William Jay Robinson, wife, Lisa, children Josh, Nathan and Emma.
--(I am uncertain about the information in this paragraph but think my father, William, is the son of William H. and Vera E. Robinson of Laconia. In the 1930 census, they were living in Lancaster, ages 35 and 25, respectively; they are also listed as having two daughters, Mary L. and Sally A.
William Sr.'s parents are listed as born in England (father) and Canada (mother), and Vera's, New Hampshire and Vermont. From the census, children: Mary L. 6; William H. Robinson Jr., 3; Sally A. 4 1/2--)
On the LeTourneau side: Our grandfather, Emile LeTourneau, came from Trois Rivieres, Quebec, born in 1888. The Social Security index says he died in September, 1973, in Andover, Mass. 1930 census says he entered the US in 1900, and was a World War I veteran, which coincides with family stories.
A great-uncle in Quebec who was a Marist brother, Brother Paul Joseph, recorded this info about his siblings and their children on Feb. 11, 1957, in letters to my mother. His letters name three brothers, not including our grandfather, Emile, or himself. I thought there were more siblings. I've added some info (in parentheses) found on the Internet. The letter says my grandfather, Emile, was 66 as of Nov14, 1954. and, according to the letters, his siblings were:
