Another important Bradt family document.

This document is the the first statement of "intent to marry" by Barent Barentson, brother of Albert Bradt's wife. Barent, whose signature appears at the bottom of the document, was "attended" by his mother, Geesgen Baerents (who also came to America). Barent appeared before the Amsterdam official, Frans Banning Cocq (Cock)on 21 August 1632. Frans Banning Cocq is the central figure in Rembrandt's painting, called "Night Watch."
