This church, a protion of which was built prior to the year,1200, may have been the home church for the "Bradt" family, and may be the church in which Albert and Arent Andriessen "Bradt" were baptized. The cemetery contains stones with the name "Andreasson" inscribed on them. (Most of the stones are from the last century.)
