SALLY SLEEPER RUSSELL was FRANK H. SLEEPER'S oldest grandchild. Born in 1919 in Worcester, Massachusetts she spent her youthful summers at Lake Massawippi in the Eastern Townships of Quebec. She was the mother of the author of this page. A lifelong artist and creative non-conformist. She loved nature, art and literature. She was the oldest daughter of Raymond Field Russell and Ethel May Sleeper. She lived in St. Petersburg, Florida from Sept. 1949 until her death in October of 1983.
