This is additional information and sort of a blackboard for Schlotfeldt families around the world. Operated by Fay & Jan Schlotfeldt of Rio Verde, Arizona it is secondary to our Family Tree Maker file below. (AOL stopped hosting our and other pages on Nov. 1, 2008. Our records are collected from many sources in the USA, Germany, South Africa, Chile, Brazil and Australia our file contains over 5,500 descendants of Jochim Schlotfeldt of Klein Flintbek, Schleswig Holstein, Germany and their married families. If you have these names in your ancestry, we are probably related.(Which you may think is either a good or bad thing. :-) )
A researcher named Klaus Struve in Kiel has called Fay, "The keeper of the Schlotfeldt Brotherhood". :-) (He might add, "and Sisterhood".)
Please let us know if you have an inquery about these families. Fay's comment: I have some smaller branch family trees that are not quite linked, but all seem to go back to the Kiel Area of Schleswig-Holstein. We have trees in Denmark and Mexico also. About every month we get an inquery and add to the tree of our families. We don't charge for information exchanges. If you write in German, I can get it translated fairly fast. If it's Portugese it will take a little longer.
I really do well with American English. :-)
