BIOGRAPHY MORE ON Alvy Moore Alvy Moore Actor/Producer : Born - Vincennes, IN From All Movie Guide: In films from 1952, thin-necked, crew-cutted Alvy Moore was typecast as snoops, unwanted suitors and general, all- around pests. Moore did get to break away from his usual assignments in such roles as a motorcycle bum in The Wild One (1953) and Debbie Reynolds' boyfriend in Susan Slept Here (1954). A prolific TV guest star, Moore was hilarious as the faux IRS agent Handlebuck in the Emmy-winning Dick Van Dyke Show episode "The Impractical Joke." Fans of the sitcom Green Acres (1965-71) will remember Moore best as self-contradictory agricultural agent Hank Kimball a role he reprised in a 1990 reunion film. In the 1970s, Alvy Moore turned producer, teaming with another busy character actor, L.Q. Jones, to turn out the low-budget chiller Brotherhood of Satan (1971) and the cult classic A Boy and His Dog (1975). ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide http://www.nytimes.com/ref/movies/amglegal.html http://www.nytimes.com/ref/movies/amglegal.html© 2005 All Media Guide, LLC Portions of content provided by All Movie Guide®, a trademark of All Media Guide, LLC FILMOGRAPHY MORE ON Alvy Moore Alvy Moore Actor/Producer: Born - Vincennes, IN Denotes a New York Times Critic's Pick 1990 Return to Green Acres Actor: Hank Kimball 1989 The Horror Show Actor » Review 1989 Intruder Actor: Officer Dalton 1989 Little White Lies Actor: Mr. Jenkell 1985 Here Come the Littles Actor: Grandpa Little 1984 They're Playing with Fire Actor: Jimbo 1983 Nightmares Actor 1983 Scream Actor: Al 1981 Mortuary Actor: Bob Stevens 1979 Smokey and the Hotwire Gang Actor 1978 Cotton Candy Actor: George's Father 1975 Dr. Minx Actor 1975 The Specialist Actor: Bailiff 1975 A Boy and His Dog Producer / Actor: Dr. Moore » Review » Trailer 1971 The Late Liz Actor: Bill Morris 1971 The Brotherhood of Satan Producer / Actor: Tobey » Review 1969 The Witchmaker Actor: Dr. Ralph Hayes 1967 The Gnome-Mobile Actor: Gas Station Mechanic » Review 1965 Love and Kisses Actor: Officer Jones » Review 1965 One Way Wahini Actor: Maxwell 1965 A Very Special Favor Actor: Ralph » Review 1964 The Devil's Bedroom Actor 1963 Move Over, Darling Actor: Waiter » Review 1963 For Love or Money Actor: George » Review 1961 Twist Around the Clock Actor: Dizzy Bellew » Review 1961 The Wackiest Ship in the Army Actor: Johnson » Review 1961 Everything's Ducky Actor: Jim Lipscott » Review 1958 The Perfect Furlough Actor: Pvt.
