6. RUDOLPHUS⁷ CHANDLER (JESSE⁶, BENJAMIN⁵, JOSEPH⁴, BENJAMIN³, EDMUND², JOHN¹ CHAUNDELER) was born 1801 in Rutland, Vermot, and died December 06, 1876 in Wythe Township, IL. He married LYDIA HUTCHINS in Ohio. She was born 1811 in OH, and died January 10, 1871.

Notes for RUDOLPHUS CHANDLER:
While in Ohio (Nauvoo? near Carthage), Mormons came in to settle and according to a family account, raided the countryside including the family farm where "every cow and horse and all of the stock and bedding had been taken and they had to almost start anew. A few days later, the company marched upon the jail and shot Joe Smith [who headed the Mormons and was jailed in Carthage]...
