Thomas Silk (son of John Francis Silk and Ellen Glynn) was born 1891 in Cartrondangan, Calla, Kilconnell, Co. Galway, and died 30 March 1966. He married Annie Madden.
Notes for Thomas Silk: TOM, As he was known, married and moved into the homestead at CARTRONDANDAN, CALLA, KILCONNELL. His wife treated the old folks, John and Ellen, very badly, resulting in John and Ellen moving out to Anne Lyons ( their daughters house ) Heathview. Tom eventually sold out and went to Dublin to live with his daughter Rosemary Kavanagh, who lived on the North Circular Rd. Dublin opposite the old Cattle Market.
