(5 March 1869) Homestead and Personal Property exemption, a certain tract of land adjoining D. Johnson, M. W. Tatum and others containing 116 acres valued $58 and 100 acres adjoining M. W. I made the following notes: 5 Apr 1884 D. O. Smith and wife and son Henry and three daughters applied for dismission to unite with Kates Chappell Baptist Church. On 3 Oct 1885 the minutes show approval for this for Doctor O. Smith, Martha A. Smith, Vira C. Smith, Mattie ? Smith, Rufina Smith and Milton H. Smith, a Mote or two and Robert Smith and wife.
