142. LUCETTA5 FRAZIER (POLLY LUCRETIA4 BLACKBURN, JANE "JENNY"3 RANKIN, DAVID2, DAVID1) was born Abt. 1806 in Harrison County, Kentucky. She married (1) HORACE B. WHITNEY December 28, 1828 in Adams County, Illinois. He was born in Kentucky, and died 1831 in Kentucky. She married (2) JAMES J. FLETCHER 1834. He was born Abt. 1809 in Logan Co., Kentucky, and died 1847.

Moved to Illinois with second husband and two children from first marriage in 1834. Her second husband died 12 years later and she remained on the farm and raised her four children.

I found your family tree file on your family tree maker home page. I noted that you have Lucetta Frazier married first to an unknown Whitney and then to James J. Fletcher. The unknown Whitney is Horace B. Whitney born in
Kentucky, married Lucetta on December 28, 1828 in Adams Co., Illinois and died before 1835 in Kentucky. This is as far back as we can find the Whitney name in our family. I have much of the same information you have on the Rankin and Blackburn line from the World Wide Family Tree CDs I have purchased. I am sending you the descendents of Lucetta Frazier's marriage to Horace B. Whitney. Much of this comes from research done by Bruce Whitney, my first cousin, a Presbyterian minister in the Orlando, Florida area. Some of the information comes from research I have done on my closer relatives. Bruce did his research as part of a project done while he was in the seminary. I have a copy of the report and his sources.
