Tintype of Mary M. (Burlingame) Posten, circa 1885

This tintype of Mary M. (Burlingame) Posten was kept in the Posten Family Bible, and furnished by her great grandaughter, Chrystal Nadyne "Nina" (Lily) Beets. Mary was wife to William Posten; married in Morgan County, Ohio, January 19, 1847. They moved to Miller County, Missouri, where she died and was buried in Salem Cemetery, north of Eldon.
