Fuze Shop, Woolwich Arsenal - 1917

Emily Rosannah Feild, back row 3rd on the left, during WW1 when she was working in munitions at Woolwich Arsenal near London after leaving Pembrokeshire. Unfortunately, she never returned to Pembrokeshire again. Other brothers and sisters also left Pembrokeshire about this time, probably in search of work or the high wages that were on offer in the South East.
