Observatory Farm, Hubberston - 1990

Emily Rosannah Feild was born at Observatory Farm in 1889. The farm buildings had been converted into a laundry when this photo was taken in 1990. At one time Observatory was an isolated place, today it is surrounded by a housing estate. The ruins of the mathematical college can be seen in the background.
