St. Botolph's nestling beneath the Oil Refinery

St. Botolph's was once the home of the ELLIOT family of Steynton & Hubberston having devolved to them through the female line from the Howell family. The mansion pictured here replaced an earlier mansion built during the 1500's. It was reputed to have been sold to General Le Haunte in 1803 after George Elliot had moved in Laugharne. This photo was taken in 2000.
