She was born January 12, 1647/48 in Plymouth MA, and died August 25, 1712 in Dartmouth, Bristol, Massachusetts.

4. ANDREW5 FLOYD (MORRRIS4, JOHN RICKARD3, MORRIS (MAURICE)2, EDWARD1) was born August 29, 1750 in Frederick Co. VA- later became Berkley Co WVA, and died March 05, 1839 in York Co. SC. He married ANNE NANCY GORDON ( GORDAN) 1781, daughter of JAMES GORDAN) and ANN. She was born 1760, and died March 24, 1838 in York Co, SC.

NDREW FLOYD:
Andrew Floyd served in the Revolutionary War as an adjunct, with a rant of Lieutenant In October 1833, Andrew Prepared an affidavit in order to establish his was record and to increase his pension. He recounted his service as a volunteer, his participation in the Battle of KIng's Mountain and Ramseurs Creek, and his foray into Cherokee territory to push back the Indians.
Andrew was a Wheelwright by trade. In his will , prepared one year before his death at 88, he owned 13 slaves. He left " that tract of plantation on which I reside" to his daughter Mary J. who never married, until her death. Then it was to go to George McWorter Floyd his oldest son. The remainder of his Plantation was to go directly to George. McWorter Floyd.. George moved to Mississippi. Mary leaves the house in her will to her nephew John Brison Venable, son of Mary J's sister Nancy Floyd and her husband James Venable. John never marry s and leaves the property to a friend Alexander Glass.

Andrew was born in Frederick Co VA and later moved to Tryon Co NC in the late 1760's. Records show that he was working as a surveyor in the 1760's in Frederick Co VA. His family resided in the area south and west of Matinsburg, WVA which was then Frederick CO VA. Andrew Floyd, Robert Elder and David Crocket families all moved to Tryon NC together in the 1760's.and early70's Andrew and David Elder both married Gordon sisters.

I have a copy of his Warrant of Appraisement of his estate and Rev. War affidavit
