She married (2) WILLIAM O' GRADY 1712, son of ALEXANDER JOHN O' GRADY. He was born 1688 in Co. Donegal, Ireland, and died in Lenoir, NC.

Notes for WILLIAM OLIVER GRADY:
Immigrated to Virginia in the early 1700's from Donegal Ireland. He was living in Chowan County, NC in 1717 and later Dobb's?Lenoir COunty NC. He also purchased land in Albertson Township of Duplin County where amny of his descendants still reside, He is daid to have married his cousin Ann Barfield ( 1732-1790), daughter of Richard Barfield of Virginia.

Notes for WILLIAM O' GRADY:
Immigrated to Virgina from COunty Donegal, Ireland around 1700. Was living in Chowan COunty, NC and later in DObbs/Lenoir COunty. He also purchased land in Albertson Township of Duplin County where many of his descendants live today.

NC, daughter of WILLIAM WHITFIELD and ELIZABETH GOODMAN. She was born 1714 in Duplin Co NC, and died December 20, 1791 in Albertson Township, Duplin Co, NC.

Notes for JOHN GRADY:
All of the sons of John Grady, William, John, Alexander and Frederick served in the Revolutionary War. William's son John was the only soldier killed by the British at the Battle of Moore's Creek Feb.22,1775. There is a monument at the battle site which confirms this.
