He married (2) SALLIE SELDON SLATER JOHNSON November 1905 in Jamesville, VA. Northampton Co. VA, daughter of LITTLETON JOHNSON and MARGARET WYATT. She was born September 21, 1883 in Northampton Co, VA, and died January 24, 1952 in Northampton Co. VA.

Obituary of Nathaniel Henry Stockley:
Mr. Nathaniel Henry Stockley a resident of Keller passed away Monday, Feb 16 following a lingering illness. He was 90 years old.
Funeral services were held from the Fred G. Mapp Memorial Funeral Home on Wednesday, Feb 18 at 3 p.m. By Rev. William Halliburton. Interment was in Bell Haven Cemetery.
Mr Stockley was the son of Samuel Carter Stockley and Isabelle Dasrling Stockley.
Surviving are the following children: Stacy Stockley, Keller; L.W.J. Stoakley, Charleston W. VA; Robert C. Stockley, Charleston W. VA.; Nathaniel Henry Stockley, Jr. Lynnhaven VA.; Mrs William Hutchiens, Smithfield, VA; Mrs J.M/ Bryant, Norfold, VA; and Mrs Joseph Lovett, Keller. There are ten grandchildren, William C. Stockley U.S.A.F. Madrid, Spain; Richard Wales ( Henry ) Stockley; U.S. Naval Academy, Annapolis MD, Mrs William Goshorn, Charleston W.VA; Sally and Patsy Stockley, Charleston W.VA.; Donald and Nathaniel Lovett, Keller; Billy Hutchens, Smithfield, VA Marcia and Joseph Bryant, Norfolk.
The pallbearers were Walkley Johnson, Halley Mapp Wyatt Mapp Joe Farlow, W.F. Ayres, and R.D. Vail.
