He was a lifelong area resident. Mr. Minter was a sheet-metal worker, retiring in 1981. He was a member of Local 2 of the Sheet Metal Workers Union. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. Survivors include his wife, Marilyn M. Minter of the home; three sons, Daniel E. Minter, Independence, Chris C. Minter, Treasure Island, Calif., and Neil E. Minter, Kansas City; a daughter, Mary Lynn Spencer, Florissant, Mo.; a sister, Martha Lorene Corody, Kansas City; and eight grandchildren.
