12. THOMAS FRANKLIN3 SUTTON (BAILEY2, JOHN1) was born 22 July 1842 in Lee County, Virginia, and died 31 January 1933 in Bogard, Carroll, Missouri. He married (1) OLIVE MOYERS 02 November 1859 in Claiborne County, Tennessee. She died Bef. 1870 in Tennessee. He married (2) HARRIET BARBARA MOYERS 16 May 1870 in Union County, Tennessee. She was born 04 June 1842 in Cumberland Gap, Clairborne, Tennessee, and died 07 November 1942 in Bogard, Carroll, Missouri.

                  An Aged Citizen Dies
THOMAS F. SUTTON PASSED AWAY AT BOGARD TUESDAY NIGHT AT 8:15

Thomas F. Sutton, an aged and highly respected citizen of Bogard, died Tuesday evening about 8:15 following two weeks of illness. Death was caused by infirmities prevalent in advanced years.
He was born in Virginia July 22, 1842 where he grew to manhood. He came to this county in 1881 and located on a farm about one and one half miles southwest of Bogard. He later left the county and located in Kentucky. About twenty-five years ago he returned to this county and had since made his home here.
Mr. Sutton was twice married, his first wife was Olive Moyer. To this union two children were born, a son who died in infancy and a daughter, Mrs. Frank Smith, who now resides in Bogard. Following the death of his first wife he was married to her sister, Harriet Moyer. His widow, who survives, is now 90 years of age.
Mr. Sutton was a veteran of the Civil War. For many years he had been a member of the Methodist Church at Bogard and was a member of the Masonic fraternity.
Funeral services were held from the Methodist church at Bogard Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock conducted by the pastor. Interment was made in Mt. Zion Cemetery.

13. MARY JANE3 SUTTON (BAILEY2, JOHN1) was born February 1845 in Claiborne County, Tennessee, and died 20 September 1916 in Laurel County, Kentucky. She married (1) UNKNOWN. She married (2) MILTON G. HARBIN, SR. 01 August 1878 in Laurel County, Kentucky. He was born 09 September 1844 in Grennwell District, South Carolina, and died 11 February 1916 in Laurel County, Kentucky.

                        Mrs. M.G. Harbin Dead
Mrs. M.G. Harbin, after several weeks illness with the flux, died at her home north of London, Wednesday morning, September 20, at the age of seventy-eight years. Mrs. Harbin was preceded to the grave by her husband, a well known Union soldier, just seven months and ten days. Following funeral services conducted by Dr. Geo. F. Luers, the remains were laid to rest on Cemetery Hill Thursday morning.
Mr. and Mrs. M.G. Harbin, Jr. of Harlan, Mr. and Mrs. Godfrey Elliott, of Mildrum, Mrs. Hula Johnson, of Harrogate, Tenn., and Mrs. Alice Whitehead, of Richmond were notified and were with their mother during her last hours, as were Chas. and Will sons of R,W, Harbin, of Varilla, their father being unable to
come.
Mrs. Harbin was a lovable Christain character, a member of the Methodist church, and had many friends who extend their sympathy to the bereaved family.

Resolution of Respect
February 17, 1916

We, the Committee of London Council No. 181, Jr. O.U.A.M. most respectfully submit the following resolutions:
First, The great spirit has called from among us our beloved brother M.G. Harbin, to that holy habitation and Council above, and we the members of London Council, do hereby tender our sympathy to the bereaved widow and children and while his place can not be filled in our Council we realize the fact that we can meet him in the Council above and we admonish the bereaved family to prepare to meet him also.
Second, That a copy of these resolutions be spread upon our records and a copy be sent to each of the family.

November 4, 1899

Leg Broken - On last Saturday morning, as Mr. M.G. Harbin, a respectable citizen, living about three miles west of London, was attempting to mount his horse, that animal being a spirited one, jumped from under him and he fell to the ground, breaking his right leg a little above half way from the knee to the thigh. He as suffered quite a great deal, but his physicians report that he is getting along very nicely and Will soon recover.
