I have been researching my family history for approximately 12 years.

I am searching for my great great Grandfather, William Gandy, born about 1840 in Georgia. He had a son by the name of John Holland Gandy (my great grandfather). My grandfather (Edward Eugene Gandy) was the informant on John Holland's death certificate. Unfortunately, it only list his father as William Gandy born in Galabama, "not known" for mother's name.

Word has been passed down through the years that two brothers married two sisters. The brothers are John Holland Gandy and William Thomas Gandy. The sisters they married are Mary Ann Elizabeth Thomas (to John Holland) and Sarah Katherine Thomas (to William Thomas).

The most common names in this site are Gandy, Frier, Thomas and Driggers.
