About Our Family Research


My husband (Taylor) and I (Beard) were both born and raised in Sylvania, Screven County, Georgia. After we married we moved to Savannah, Chatham County, Georgia. Here we raised our three children.

We are now researching both sides of our family from Sylvania, Screven County, Georgia. Husband side includes Taylor, Jenkins, Lariscy, Cuthbert, Lomband, Nix, McGowin. My side includes Beard, Bazemore, Bragg, Edenfield, Deason, Fries, Counts, Griner.

The Fries side came from Bavaria, Germany. The Cuthberts were from England/Australia. The Bazemores were from Surrey, England. The Griner-Lariscy family was from Austria. The Braggs from Barbados.
