The following composition of the history and genealogy of the Hajek family has been a combination effort of several different sources. I personally have been compiling information for about twelve years. I have been fortunate enough to have met several family members and they have contributed the information for their families. I have compiled the information that has been given to me and I personally feel that this is the best way to save and preserve our family history. I hope that those who read and pass this information on to other family members enjoy it as much as I have truly enjoyed working with it. I know in my heart that this is one book that shall never have an ending, as our family continues into the future and continues to grow.
If you find errors, which I am sure there are, please feel free to note them and send them to me and I will do my best to make the corrections.
I personally wish to thank each person who has so unselfishly helped me with information and suggestions, as well as the contribution of pictures and stories. My greatest thanks and appreciation goes to Albina Hajek Brooks ,Victor ( Vic) Hajek and Marie Gottfried for their help and advise. Without Vic's help I would have never been able to obtain a lot of the information that is included in this file.
