Descendants of Adolph Martin Hajek
Generation No. 1
1. Adolph Martin3 Hajek (Martin2, Bartolomej1) was born June 25, 1863, and died Unknown.
Notes for Adolph Martin Hajek:
Information given to me is that Antone B. Hajek, Joseph Victor Hajek and Paul P. Hayek were very distraught over the death of Adolph Hajek. . They were notified that he was dead and never told when he died or where he was buried. No one knows who handled the funeral -burial arrangements. No one seems to know who notified the family of his death.
We can speculate over what happened to Martin Hajek, but locating any documentation concerning his life or death has proved fruitless. I personally think that he is buried somewhere near West or even in Waco. I believe that he was most likely buried by the Railroad for whom he was employed ( or that is what I have been told). I believe that if we could gain access to the newspaper of the that period we would find his death notice there. The problem is figuring out the time of his death. They say he died as a young man. I am assuming this would be early twenties. So that could be between 1883 and 1890. Hopefully one day we can check the news paper and find something until then, we can only utilize the very limited information we have for Adolph Martin Hajek.
Anyone that does have any stories or information on Adolph is encouraged to share those please. Let’s give this man a history.
Adolph Hayek was born June 25,1863. He never married and not much is known of his life. He is believed to have been murdered near West. The circumstances of his death are not clear, but one story has it that he was a young man working for the railroad. He had a temper, liked to play cards and drink. His body was found one cold morning inside a empty boxcar outside of West. His date of death and place of burial are unknown. .
