He married Anna Francis Krajca November 23, 1891 in Bryan , Brazos CO., TX. Witnesses: Guihelm J. Hajek, Wenceslaus Dobrovolny -Priest was J. Pelnar in the St. Joseph Catholic Church- Bryan, TX. Notes for Antone Bartholomew Hajek:
Here are a couple of "Historic Stories" worth merit about our Hajek Family for the record.

My dad, Victor A. Hajek, son of Antone B Hajek and Anna Krajca, often repeated this information about his dad.
Antone did go to Terrell TX. to buy a farm and made a down payment on one. He came home to West, got sick and died. Anna either went to Terrell or corresponded and got the down payment back. While Victor V. was only nine years old at the time. He vividly repeated this story many times through the years. This information is slightly different from the information previously stated.

The other story relates to the Joe Victor Hajek and Julie Kolar family. Confirmed by my Dad Victor A. Hajek and his brother Arnold J. Hajek’s family . All of which lived in West TX. at the time. My Dad affectionately referred to Joe Victor as "Daddy Joe" since he lost his father at the age of nine.
It seems that Joe Victor was seriously ill and Julie Kolar prayed to God to get him well and promised one of her son’s would become a Catholic Priest. As a result she put much pressure in the regard on Edward John, their oldest son and he ultimately complied, but he really did not want to nor did he have that vocation. He finally left the priesthood . However he did visit or correspond to Rome for dispensation, the results are not known.
My Dad , Victor V. even visited Edward as Altar Boy during his tenure. My Dad was close to this family and even worked many years in the motor car / truck repair for Joe E. Hajek, Edward’s younger brother.
