The Elmo Thibodeau's of Riviere-Verte, NB CANADA

After suffering a rapid decline in movement and speech during a period of approximately two months, Elmo Thibodeau fell victim to the incurable Jakob Creutzfeld Disease and passed away December 19, 2006. The funeral mass was held on December 25 at 4:00 p.m. in Eglise Sacre Coeur in Riviere-Verte by father Joseph Nubi Phaku Mavambu. Elmo was son of Claude and Eugenie (Lizotte) He was brother to: Roger (Jeanne) of Riviere-Verte (passed away 1999) Ola (Dorella) of Riviere-Verte Will (Rolande) of Riviere-Verte Louise (Roger P Martin) of Riviere-Verte Raoul of Riviere Verte Rogeanne (Emilien Ouellette) of Saint-Hilaire Elmona r.h.s.j of Saint-Basile Rachel (Guy Levesque) of Edmundston Anne (Guy Nadeau) of Riviere-Verte Jacques (Diane) of Edmundston Gisele (Real Ouellette) of Verret Gilles (Lyne) of Riviere-Verte Nicole (Gilles Nadeau) of Riviere-Verte Elmo leaves wife Germaine (Dionne) and sons Ron and Richard (Cindy Filshie).

Elmo worked in various occupations for Canadian Pacific Hotels in St. Andrews N.B. and transferring to the Royal York in Toronto in 1953 where he progressed to the role of Catering Manager before retiring at age 65 in 1990.

A reception held at the residence of Elmo's brother Raoul where numerous relatives celebrated the occasion with the happy couple, their 40th wedding anniversary.

Elmo's son Richard has a surprise party in 1991 for his parents and their numerous friends in the apartment he shares with his wife Cindy on the occasion of the eve of his parent's departure from Toronto for their retirement in new residence located in Elmo's birthplace of Riviere-Verte New Brunswick.
