Lindsay King was born in Renfrewshire, October, 1808, and died in New Bedford, Mass., December 15, 1890, aged 82 years. He was the first president of the New Bedford Burns Club, and a man of superior talent, well acquainted with the history and literature of his native country, and of large general knowledge.
