Notes for William Eugene Eucker: Shot and killed December 11, 1923, Jaite, OH,hill,for his money box. He drove a fuel truck and made deliveries to the farmers. The truck broke down. He had phoned for help from a store down the road and was accosted on his way back to the truck. They dregged the body down to the railroad tracks nearby to make it look like Will was hit by a trainn but he was found before a train came along.
