Services for Ray Paulk, 91 of Athens are scheduled for 10 A.M. Wednesday at Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bill Holloway officiating. Burial will follow at Davis Cemetery under the direction of Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home in Athens. Mr. Paulk died Dec. 24, 2000, in Athens. He was born Jan. 11, 1909, in Henderson County to John Lee and Laura Warren Paulk. A lifelong resident of Henderson County, he worked at Koon Kreek Klub for 55 years. Following retirement, he continued to raise cattle on his farm. He was a charter member of Virginia Hills Baptist Church, serving as deacon until 1997. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Loyd Paulk; and sister, Jewell Paulk. Survivors include his wife of 70 years, Lucy Tiner Paulk of Athens; sister, Hattie Davis of Elysion Fields; aunt, Verna Drew of Athens; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be R.K. Hendrix, Ray Davis, Rogert Waggener, Cecil Richard Fagan, Joy Brown and Dan Godwin. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Douglas Curran, Linden Lewis, Robert Neely, Addie Holloway, Wanda Marshall, Sallie Hendrix, Lanny Godwin and Tony Douglas. Family will receive friends from 5-7 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home. If desired, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.

Graveside services will be held Monday, at 2:00 P.M. at the Davis Cemetery for Jeff Lambright, 77, who died Friday at 12:30 A.M. at his home in Fort Worth after a short illness. The Rev. Gordon Alexander, Pastor of the First Methodist Church of Athens will conduct the Services. The Carroll & Lehr Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Lambright lived at Baxter in Henderson County prior to moving to Fort Worth, 18 years ago. Survivors are his wife, one son, George Lambright of Dallas, two stepsons James C. Killingsworth of Sweet Water and Robert Lee Lambright of Fort Worth. Three daughters: Mrs. Lucille Anderton of Uasila, CA., Mrs. Macille Caddell, & Mrs. Ruby McKesthan of Dallas. One stepdaughter, Mrs. E.C. Killingsworth of Fort Worth & 2 brothers, 1 sister, 16 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.

Jeff's first wife Mary "Polly" died in 1944. He moved to Fort Worth at about that time.
