Notes for Caroline Black: The first record I found of Caroline was in the 1897 Maysville Directory. She lives at 241 west 2nd Street Maysville Kentucky. She was not there any other year. The second record I found was on the 1900 Bracken county Ky. census. From this I found she was born March 1879 In Kentucky. Caroline could read and write. Her father was born 1846 in Pennsylvania. Her Mother was born in Kentucky. Caroline her Father James and son James Gilbert lived in the home of George E. Bruin in Chattem Kentucky. As of 5-28-2006 this is all of the documents I have found on Caroline Black. She in not found on any other census record in Bracken, Mason, Robertson, Pendelton or Lewis counties in Kentucky nor is she in Brown or Adams county Ohio.
