4. BENJIMAN4 FURBEE (BENJAMIN FURBEE3 [FURBY], BENJAMIN FURBEE2, FELIX1 FURBEE) was born February 04, 1663/64 in Talbot Co., MD, and died May 01, 1733 in Kent County, DE. He married SUSANNAH LOWBER Abt. 1720, daughter of MICHAEL LOWBER and UNITY VIRDEN. She was born 1699 in Kent Co., DE, and died May 12, 1763 in Kent Co., DE.

He was a "SQUIRE" and was the owner/operator of the "King George's Inn"

On 12 FEB 1721 Michael Lowber deeded 100 acres called "Furbys Lott" on Double Run, about 8 miles from Dover, to Benjamin and Susannah. It was part of the Southampton tract he had bought from Daniel Rutty. The land remained in the family for almost 100 years.     

On 10 AUG 1724 Benjamin bought from Andrew Caldwell for 10 pounds a parcel lying between the land of William Mifflin and a branch of Murderkill Creek called the Two Runs (later Double Run), previously sold to Caldwell by Michael Lowber.[.FT]
