She married ROBERT SPENCER LEE MCKIMMIE Unknown, son of GEORGE MCKIMMIE and MARTHA MASON. He was born September 28, 1865 in Franklin District of Marshall Co, VA, and died October 14, 1929.

Great grandson of James Mc Kimmy (1761-1829 and Mary (Gallaher) Mc
Kimmy.
Mc Kimmies lived in the 1st Dist. of Loudon Co., Va., between
Leesburg and Harper's Ferry, and on the South side of Short Hill.
Spent his earlier days in the Oil Fields of Wetzel County, W.Va.
Ran a Livery Stable on Piney Fork, in the Spring of 1899, when
married to Ora Gay Clark.
Spencer also had 30 or more teams of horses of his own, which he kept
busy in the Oil Fields.
Later in life, he devoted his time to farming, and cutting out timber
having owned and operated his own Saw Mills.
Was killed in and auto Accident, Oct 14, 1929.[gorby.FTW]

(1978) Robert Spencer Lee McKimmie had spent his early years in the oil fields of WV, had a livery stable, then operated 30 teams of his own. His later years were devoted to farming, and to cutting timber, having his own saw mill.

Served as a radio technician in the US Air Force, was a Hollywood businessman many years. Since retiring, has devoted his time to genealogy, and has added much to the histories of several families, including the data on these pages; he also sees that many of the small WV cemeteries are kept tended.
