NOTES FROM A RESEARCHER LIVING IN SAULT ST MARIE 2002: "The house at 99 Grace Street is now torn down to make way for a parking lot. But I did note that where the house of Edythe was and where Harry lived were probably at that time only about a minute walk. Depending on how things looked back then they may have actually been able to see each others home. The Grace street area of the city is now a run down district and not a very good neighborhood. While the Biggings Street area is unique in that it is so narrow that two cars couldn't pass each other without pulling over on the sidewalk. I don't think there is another street in the city that narrow. In case you are not aware of the Sault Ferry, it was a ferry that crossed the river from Sault Ste. Marie Ontario to Sault Ste. Marie Michigan on the American side of the river that forms the border between our two countries.
