Was an Englishman by birth. Cames to America in the service of the English Army. Soon afterwards deserted the English and joined in the cause of freedom with the colonies. Was a participant in the Boston Tea Party. On several occasions narrowly escaped loosing his life. Once having his head almost severed from his body of the sword of an English soldier. last knowledge of him, he was 116 years old.
