Alexander Skelton, Sr. (son of John Skelton and Elizabeth "Betsy" Roberts)^{1510, 1511, 1512, 1513, 1514, 1515, 1516, 1517, 1518, 1519, 1520, 1521} was born June 1, 1793 in Amherst County, Virginia^{1522, 1523, 1524, 1524, 1525, 1526, 1527, 1528}, and died April 15, 1884 in New Canton, Hawkins County, Tennessee^{1529, 1530}. He married Susanna Sukey Dollins on September 4, 1809 in Hawkins County, Tennessee^{1531, 1532}, daughter of William Dollins and Jane Brockman.

Elizabet (Prichard) Mann (wife of George

While living in TN, drew pension for voluntary military service in War 1812. Enlisted at Rogersville, TN. Sevred Oct. 2, 1813 - Feb. 8, 1814.

Second wife, Elizabeth Mann, applied for and received the pension benefits in 1878. She lived in New Canton, Hawkins County TN.
