Notes for L
EMUEL JOHNSON PAGE:
At one time, Lemuel PAGE was warden of Auburn Prison, NY when there was a riot and he was badly injured. While he was warden at the prison, he had a cover lid woven from the wool spun by his daughter, Sarah. It is owned by Ann PAGE's eldest granddaughter (Georgia HOWE). Lemuel PAGE died on his farm a few miles south of Fulton, and is buried in the Chase Cemetery across the river from Morseman's Lock. He died in 1847.

Notes for S
ARAH HARRIS:
Sarah Harris was disinherited by her wealthy father, Joseph HARRIS because she married against his wishes. She was a devout Christian girl who avoided every appearance of evil. Her new home was dedicated to God, and characterized by daily devotions. In after years, she was once translated in spirit to the Celestial World for three days where she saw and conversed with a son who had passed to the Great Beyond while still in young manhood. She had an angel visitor one week before her death who remained to accompany her home.
