Notes for PAUL HARRIS PAGE:
Paul attended country school until his parents moved to Spirit Lake, Iowa. He was a Ranger in World War 2, received his training in England and Scotland, wounded in North Africa when the train on which they were riding was machine gunned, mercilessly, and all killed but 3. Air protection was inadequate during early part of war. Paul was badly wounded, hospitalized in England and at Battle Creek, Michigan for months. Received the Purple Heart for bravery.
