Tennessee River near WATERLOO, ALABAMA

I was born and raised in WATERLOO, ALABAMA on the TENNESSEE RIVER. I graduated from WATERLOO HIGH SCHOOL in 1966. After serving a tour in Vietnam in 1970 and 71, I was employed as a toolmaker for South Bend Lathe, South Bend, Indiana and White Motor Company. I am presently employed by a defense contractor in Ft. Worth, Texas. Also, my hobbies are history, my grandchildren and an amateur radio operator (ham) for over 30 years. My call is KF5NO. WATERLOO, ALABAMA was also a steam boat landing in its earlier days and also a transit point by waterway for the Trail of Tears.
